Oxy Top Fulbright Producer for 15th Year

Jim Tranquada

For the fifteenth consecutive year, аIJʿª½± is one of the country’s top producers of student Fulbright Awards, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education’s annual Fulbright rankings.

Seven аIJʿª½± seniors and one alumnus won 2019-20 Fulbrights to work and study in seven countries on three continents. The eight are among 116 аIJʿª½± students and alumni who have won Fulbrights since 2003.

аIJʿª½±â€™s total of seven student awards tied it with Amherst, Vassar, Wesleyan, Franklin & Marshall and DePauw among top liberal arts college producers.

This year marks the first time Oxy has sent Fulbright winners to Moldova, Romania, Russia and South Africa.
